Tyax Heli Skiing
Heli Ski British Columbia

Summary

Since your guides flew their first guests in 1991 they have been dynamically improving the heli skiing experience in British Columbia. While they have been innovative in their approach, they have always kept one simple goal in mind: To show you a good time.

The base at Tyax Mountain Lake Resort, on the shores of Beautiful Tyaughton lake, is approximately 125 miles north of Vancouver, British Columbia. They operate in the South Chilcotin Mountains which is the transition zone between the Coastal Mountains and the dry rolling Frasier Plateau. You will experience the best of both worlds- magnificent mountains, an abundance of dry powder snow and plenty of sunshine.

To date they have in excess of 300 named and mapped runs in an area of 830,000 acres. Experience the advantage of skiing or boarding with only two groups per helicopter- That means almost no waiting for the helicopter and the ability to ski and board at your pace.
