Selkirk Tangiers – Revelstoke

Selkirk Tangiers – Revelstoke

For over three decades, Selkirk Tangiers Heliskiing’s exclusive half-a-million acres of terrain in the Selkirk and Monashee Mountains has lured skiers and snowboarders from around the world.

Endless options are available with Selkirk Tangiers, offering a variety of package trip lengths and start dates, utilizing both A-Star and Bell 205 helicopters.

Nestled in a private, mountain setting, situated minutes from downtown Revelstoke, Selkirk Tangiers base of operation can be accessed from three international airports, all within reasonable driving distance.

The Heliskiing

Exclusive access to over half a million acres of terrain with impressive wide-open glaciers, alpine meadows, and massive old-growth forests. You’ll quickly understand why this region is the most famous heliskiing territory in the world.

The Selkirk and Monashee Mountains are part of the Columbia Mountain Range, where snow means powder! Annual accumulations reach 23 feet at treeline, with 30 feet in the alpine and on glaciers.

When storm cycles roll in, heliskiing in the trees is often a great option. In the case of true down-days (which are extremely rare), complimentary lift tickets to Revelstoke Mountain Resort are provided, where you can experience North America’s highest lift-serviced vertical.

Selkirk Tangiers Lodging and Operations

At Selkirk Tangiers, your guides utilize both the Eurocopter A-Star and Bell 205 helicopters to access the regional terrain. The Eurocopter A-Star accommodates private groups of up to four guests and a guide, while the Bell 205 helicopter carries up to eleven guests plus a guide.

Just minutes from downtown Revelstoke, The Hillcrest Hotel serves as the base of operations for Selkirk Tangiers Heli Skiing. This unique, pristine location offers spectacular views of the Monashee Mountains. Relax in the indoor/outdoor hot tubs, steam room, and sauna. Gear drying rooms are provided to keep all your equipment ready for the next day of powder turns. A fully-equipped exercise room and morning stretch class help get you ready for the day.
