Tordrillo Mountain Lodge

Tordrillo Mountain Lodge

Looking for the chance to pioneer lines in Alaska? The massive terrain accessible from Tordrillo Mountain Lodge makes first descents a real possibility. Come explore the Alaska Range with the industry’s most accomplished guiding crew operating in Alaska. For almost two decades, Olympic gold medalist and guide Tommy Moe, and Alaska heli ski pioneers Greg Harms and Mike Overcast, all owners of Tordrillo Mountain Lodge, have been eager to share their experiences with everyone from seasoned AK-veterans to first timers.

The remote Tordrillo Mountains receive generous amounts of snow and an equal amount of stable weather conditions. Massive glaciers and couloir-incised peaks are an endless pursuit. Imagine laying powder turns down these slopes with Denali and two 11,000 ft volcanoes looming in the background. If you are looking for a defining Alaskan heli-skiing experience, look no further.

The Heliskiing

Individually customized daily agendas, 1.2 million acres of Alaska heli ski terrain and 600 inches of light snow each season makes for the most diverse and exciting heliskiing in Alaska. Your guides will continually assess both your progression and snow conditions to determine the selection of terrain to challenge any skier.

High-pressure systems are common to this region and usually mean dry weather and clear skies that come with sunshine and good snow stability between storm cycles. Temperatures average 15º to 25º and powder hounds will get their fill with runs that top out at 7,500 feet and end at 2,000 feet.
